Located in the shinning ice of one of the most southern cities in New Zealand, Port Chalmers residency was a six month retreat (2018) for exploring the conection between art and science, making and sound recording. Many collaborations came from this retreat and are archived in the sound art section. Meanwhile below are some of the photos of making taken over that time. One of the highlights was the weekly practising and performing with the Puspawarna Gamelan orchestra (Javanese gamelan) in Otago led by the 9th generation puppet master Dr Joko Susilo.
